Description
Nelson Air Device, Corp., a fast-paced HVAC Mechanical Contractor located in the Maspeth, NY area with projects widely based in Manhattan and specializing in Healthcare, is currently looking for an HVAC Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, plan drawings and specifications.
- Work proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and Autocad, Microsoft Projects, Sage accounting software.
- Relate and interact with fellow employees.
- Work on entire jobs with a high sense of urgency.
- Manage projects in a timely manner.
- Learn and retain large amounts of product information.
- Compare vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Manage several projects and multiple jobs simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Must be able to multi-task with high attention to detail.
- Ability to use common sense and reasoning when solving problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work and meet deadlines with little supervision.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Must have the field experience to generate changes due to job conditions.
- Minimum 62 hours SST OSHA card.
- COVID vaccination is required.
